Top 5 Songs - September 2015

Bonjour!

So today I thought I would share my top 5 songs with you. I have been listening to these songs a lot recently and I will tell you for why below, in the list. They aren’t in any sort order, I love them all.
1.     Fight Song by Rachel Platten – I adore this song because it just makes me feel like clenching my fists and blasting out the lyrics with her, because I love it so much. I love it because it is like, no one else had any confidence in her, but she had self-confidence, and that was all she needed. <3
2.     Ugly Heart by GRL – I love this song. I know that is quite old now, but it still has meaning. I fell in love with it when I learnt Mandy Jiroux’s routine to it and I just listen to it on repeat on the school bus, going through the routine in my head, and making up routines for the verses. <3
3.     Drag Me Down by One Direction – This song is amazing. The music video is amazing. I just love it. I stopped being a big fan of One Direction around Y6, but this song made me love them again. <3
I’m not going to lie, I didn’t really like Zayn to start off with, and now he has gone, there isn’t really a big difference to 1D, in my opinion. I know that some people will disagree, but I disliked him even more when he split up with Perrie. Anyway, that is a different topic altogether.
4.     Can’t Stop Dancing by Becky G – Once again, I fell in love with this when I learnt Many Jiroux’s routine and it is really catchy. I love the beat and the lyrics. <3
5.     Little Mix – I know, that isn’t a song, but I have been loving ‘Black Magic’ and ‘Hair’. Little Mix have always been my favourite band and I love them because, they are confident, strong women and extremely talented. <3

Lovin’ So Hard by Becky G – Style Steal

Bonjour!
This is the first post in my new ‘series’, if you will. I shall explain, I watch music videos, look at what the artist is wearing and recreate their look. This one is for Becky G’s music video, Lovin’ So Hard.
I love that Becky’s outfit shows that you don’t need to dress up to go out with your friends or boyfriend. It is a casual look and I love it.
Her make up look is very simple. It is just a bit of mascara and a nude pink lip colour. Becky’s hairstyle is also very simple, she just added a snapback and it fits the rest of her outfit perfectly.
She has kept her outfit very simple and comfortable. A plain black crop top with shorts and a flannel shirt tied around her waist. For shoes she wore some white high tops and use black sunglasses and gold jewellery to accessorize.
I hope you liked this post, if you have any music video Style Steal requests, write them in the comments of this post, on Instagram or Twitter.

Boots Extracts Cocoa Butter Body Wash Review

Bonjour!

Well that is a long title. Any-hoo, this post is for the Cocoa Butter Body Wash from the Extracts collection at Boots. This is a fair trade product, so there’s some extra brownie points.
This body wash is amazing, the smell is fairly strong in the bottle, but smells really sweet and milky, like chocolate. (Well-duh. Obviously. Well done Charlotte). I absolutely adore the scent that stays on your body, unlike some body washes, the smell from this lasts even after rinsing it off.
It might not look like the fancy bottles from other brands, but I do love the packing of this. It proudly shows the fair trade symbol and the background is cocoa beans, showing the raw materials.
All round great product. Am giving this a 9/10.

My Top 5 Lip Products – September 2015

Bonjour!

Today, I thought I would share my top 5 lip products with you. They are mostly lip balms because I don’t wear a lot of lipstick/lip gloss.
1.     Baby Lips Dr. Rescue in Coral Crave – I wear this nearly every day as it is not too noticeable, so it is very good for school. Also it is said to ‘repair’ lips, my lips do usually get dry (especially in winter) but, since I have been wearing this a lot, my lips didn’t dry up at all.
2.     Clinique Chubby Stick in Curvy Candy – This is quite an expensive product, but it is only my ‘high-end’ make up item and it has lasted me a while. I don't wear it a lot, only for special occasions. I do like this because, buy only using a little bit, it covers well and is a really nice pink colour.
3.     Nivea Raspberry Lip Butter – First, the smells amazing. It smells really sweet and fruity and I just love it. I love these (I have the vanilla one too) because they make your lips nice and soft.
4.     EOS Sweet Mint Lip Balm – I bought this in a pack of five and this one is easily my favourite. It smells amazing, it is a quite strong mint scent. I like this because its round and it is good to quickly put on in a hurry.
5.     Seventeen Lip Lustre in Queen of Diamonds (Gloss) – This lip gloss is a beautiful sheer pink colour and it is sparkly. The sparkle doesn’t show up as much on your lips as it does in the bottle, but I still love it. It wasn’t very expensive, definitely less than £8. Unlike some lip glosses, this doesn’t leave your lips feeling sticky.
I hope you enjoyed this post as it is my first ‘beauty’ post, if you will, I don’t really know what I am doing. Anyway,

DIY Tumblr Polaroid Photo Frame

Bonjour!

Have loads of photos on your computer you want to print but you only have one frame, well this simple DIY that can be changed whenever you like is simple, quick and cute! Plus, this will remind you of all the fun you had in the summer, when you go back to school!

All you need is:
·        Some photos printed and cut to look like Polaroids (make a box around them on your computer)
·        Some cute Tumblr pics of the internet
·        A Photo Frame
First, remove the back and the glass from the frame. Arrange your Tumblr pictures on the back of the photo frame however you like. Then add your photos (I have blurred mine as they have pictures of my friends on). Then put the glass back over the top and put it back into the frame. You could also add some stickers to the frame if you wanted it to. This is perfect as a gift or for you (if you were giving it as a gift, you might want to stick the pics down).

Bonjour!
This is my first post of Monthly Favourites and I hope you like them! In the comments, write one of your favourite things from August.
1.     Rhubarb Vanilla Shower Gel by Wilko Fruits – I got this for Christmas and I only started using this in End of July/Start of August. I love this because it smells amazing and very summery. Wilko 95p

2.     Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder – I have this in ‘Warm Beige’ and I have used it a lot this summer. I put it on in the morning and I carried it around in my bag. Boots £3.99

3.     Like I’m Gonna Lose You by Meghan Trainor ft. John Legend – I have listened to this song on repeat many times. I love it. The first time I heard it, Meg DeAngelis (Maybaby) and Alex Aiono did a cover of it on YouTube, and I love both versions.
4.     Let’s Spritz Body Mist by Zoella – This is my favourite perfume. I picked it up at the end of July and haven’t stopped using it since. It smells amazingly fruity and sweet. I put a few spritz’ in my hair and it lasts for ages. Plus, the bottle is really cute. Superdrug £8
5.     Rimmel London 60 Second Nail Polish in Instyle Coral - I put this on my toenails at the start of August and it stays on for ages, I only used two coats. It dries really quickly and quite shiny. Boots £2

Bomb Cosmetics - Rhubarb and Custard Blaster - Review

Bonjour!
This is the first review I have done on this blog and I hope you like it! I am reviewing the ‘Bomb Cosmetics Rhubarb and Custard Blaster’.
I love this bath bomb as it looks amazing both in water and without. The vibrant colours on the outside merge to create a beautiful coral colour in the bath. In the shop, I was a bit un-sure as the colours did look a bit bright but I am very happy I bought it.
It leaves a gorgeous scent on your body and in the bathroom (not to strong). It has a fruity scent with a slight sweet hint of vanilla.
I love this bath bomb as it leaves your skin feeling smooth and silky and stays that way for longer than other bath bombs.
I genuinely loved this product and I highly recommend it. Here is the link to the web page: http://bombcosmetics.co.uk/rhubarb-custard-blaster
